Projectile Toolkit Pro brings path prediction, projectile behavior and launching into one modular 2D/3D workflow. Use each component on its own, or connect them so the preview follows the projectile and launcher settings you will use in play.
Three parts, one workflow#
| Component | Main job | Features you control |
|---|---|---|
ProjectileTrajectory | Predict and draw a path. | Standalone or linked sources, 2D/3D motion, preview distance and time, bounce limits, path styles, markers and refresh budgets. A preview does not spawn a projectile. |
ProjectileController | Move a projectile and handle contacts. | Straight, ballistic, kinematic, homing, returning, Bezier, spline, follow-path, orbit, spiral and Rigidbody movement; collision responses, targets, lifetime and gameplay events. |
ProjectileLauncher | Aim and launch configured prefabs. | Launch point, input, launch power, cooldown, loadouts, optional trajectory preview, shot patterns and pooling. |
Features at a glance#
- Preview a path without creating a projectile, launcher, pool or global manager.
- Configure reusable 2D and 3D projectile prefabs with movement presets and matching collision setups.
- Aim with mouse, touch, drag/release or your own input adapter; switch projectile prefabs through loadouts.
- Style paths with lines, dots, dashes, arrows, animation and contact markers.
- Reuse projectiles with launcher pooling, then tune preview schedules and geometry budgets for your scene.
- Connect gameplay through the public C# components, callbacks and Inspector UnityEvents.
Choose a starting point#
Keep prediction in context#
A trajectory is a useful preview of configured motion, contacts and targets. It is not a guarantee of the projectile's final path. Rigidbody movement uses Unity physics and is approximate; moving-target prediction uses a snapshot; and external scripts, unsupported dynamics or rendering differences can change what you see.
The supplied guide inspected Unity 6000.3.13f1, URP 17.3.0, Windows Editor and DX12. The package compatibility statement, earlier-version status and other limits are listed in Troubleshooting & compatibility.
This web guide includes all 34 supplied UI captures and the original English tutorial PDF. Code in the C# chapter is a guide example that assumes its components are configured and assigned in the Inspector.
