Installation & tools

Import the package, choose a game dimension and find the creation tools.

Import Projectile Toolkit Pro into the Unity project where you want to author and run the examples. Start in a copy of a supplied sample scene if you want a ready-made setup to inspect.

Find the package tools#

Open Tools > ERAGANX > Projectile Toolkit Pro to open the Manager. Choose 2D or 3D before creating a trajectory, projectile or launcher. The matching dimension determines which movement and collision components the helper configures.

The Manager offers three separate creation actions. Start with a trajectory to inspect prediction on its own, create a projectile to configure movement and contacts, or add a launcher when you need input and firing.

Create reusable settings#

Use the Project window's Create > ERAGANX > Projectile Toolkit Pro menu to make supported settings assets, such as Projectile Settings, Projectile Loadout, Projectile Visual Profile, Trajectory Visual Profile, Launcher Settings, Surface Response or a Trajectory Performance Profile.

Create only the assets you need. The package's core tools do not require every optional integration.

Match the project setup#

  • Keep the chosen dimension consistent across the projectile, Rigidbody/collider setup and launcher aim plane.
  • Use the optional Input System or Canvas integrations only when your project uses those workflows.
  • For mouse/touch aiming, assign an Aim Camera when the scene does not have an appropriate MainCamera.
  • Start from the included default presets, then save deliberate variations as local or reusable settings.
  • Duplicate a sample before changing it; keep customized sample scenes safe from broad regeneration.
