Bring selected scene content into lakes, puddles, wet floors and mirrors. Build the reflection with runtime components, shaders and a focused Editor Inspector, then tune its silhouette and appearance for your scene.
A reflection workflow for 2D#
2D Water Reflection Pro captures or mirrors selected 2D scene content onto a flat reflection surface. Use the supplied demonstration artwork or your own sprites, Tilemaps and compatible effects.
| Building block | What you can control |
|---|---|
| Reflection mode | Planar, Lightweight Sprite, Cached, Hybrid or Mirror. |
| Selection | Included/excluded object layers, exact Renderer selection and sorting-layer filters. |
| Surface silhouette | Rectangle or a Sprite alpha mask with circles, triangles, irregular boundaries and holes. |
| Appearance | Directional waves, radial visual ripples, color/tint, brightness, saturation, offset, blur, fades and soft edges. |
| Workflow | Inspector, Scene View handles, reusable presets, runtime C# API and ten sample scenes. |
Rendering scope: this package supplies visual reflections. Water physics, buoyancy, fluid simulation and automatic collision/splash ripples belong to your game's systems. A custom silhouette changes the visible boundary; the reflection plane remains flat.

Before you begin#
The guide inspected Unity 6000.3.13f1 with URP 17.3.0, using a compatible orthographic Base camera and a 2D Renderer. Built-in RP, HDRP, perspective/tilted cameras, XR and camera stacks are outside the current capture backend's support.
The runtime namespace and assembly are both ERAGANX.WaterReflection2D. Compatibility details and the guide's exact verification scope are in Checklist, FAQ & scope.
Save scene/prefab changes in Edit Mode. Ordinary Play Mode Inspector changes are lost when Play Mode ends. Collapsing a Settings foldout does not disable an enabled feature.
