English guideSource: Unity 6000.3.13f1 · Editor only13 October 2026

Use Quick for immediate formatting, a compact color palette and familiar Unity icons. Open Advanced for named reusable styles and precise controls.

Read the compact controls#

AreaControls
FormattingB: Bold. I: Italic. Left/Center/Right. H: Title. h: Subtitle.
Gradient rowExactly ten colors, each fading horizontally toward a dark version. Configure this palette in Settings.
Icon rowSix common icons, expander for all thirty, No icon and Restore Unity icon.
Action rowReset style, Copy, Paste and Open Advanced Window.

Hover buttons for descriptions. Every click edits immediately; Quick has no Apply step. Escape/outside input closes it with changes retained. Use Undo for reversal.

A repeatable order#

  1. Select intended objects and choose H/h first.
  2. Choose a gradient, then adjust Bold, Italic and alignment.
  3. Pick an icon or expand the palette. No icon hides the glyph; Restore Unity icon returns native appearance.
  4. Close the popup, or open Advanced for custom strength/colors, counts and saved cards.

Copy, paste and reset#

ActionScope
CopyCopy the first target's resolved style to the system clipboard as a versioned package payload.
PasteApply a complete copied style; its explicit child-color recipe can also run.
ResetRemove selected rows' own assignments. Prefab-source/default styling can become visible again.
Invalid clipboardPaste stays disabled when no valid package style payload exists.
Multiple rowsProperty edits preserve each row's unrelated choices; profile/preset/paste applies a full snapshot.

Names and roles#

Title and Subtitle format existing GameObject names at native row height. Descriptions and notes appear in tooltips rather than extra text lines. For complete-style group commands versus background-only actions, see Group actions & prefabs.
